  • Thailand watch shops.

Heading to Phuket next week and if anyone knows some good watch shops or places that sell 2nd hand watches let me know.
Gotta be some bargains in the land of Seiko and Orients .
Got the Mrs with me so don't send me any knock shop address locations. LOL

I wouldn't purchase a watch in Thailand personally.

True for the average watch buyer who has no insight into the "Franken Trade"
But the beauty of TKNZ is that reading the "Authenticate Me" thread for the last 9 years has given me a better insight than the average buyer .
Plus there are experts here that can help me out if needed via a quick email and pics.
I've never been shy to ask the asian sellers to crack the caseback and show me the movement .
That alone has saved me a lot of grief on my asian shopping excursions .

Seiko AD prices seem on par with NZ prices.
Nothing really cheap but they have some amazing editions that will never make it to NZ . Or even eBay.
Some of the lesser prestigious Seiko sellers are better priced but not enough to make me break out the visa.
Amazed at the NOS seikos sitting on their shelves .
Seen a Seiko SNDA15 still in factory plastic at $580nzd.
        But tight when haggling.
So it's still there collecting dust.

Plenty of shit in markets as expected.

Traveling across to Potong tomorrow to see what's on offer there.
