It's about as you see it brucy. Not a drop for the feint hearted, but kind of grows on you. As a side note, my cold symptoms have all but vanished

Whisky Galore has the Isle of Harris gin in! Sure to be a fine drop so I must order some... reminds me of a trip almost 30 years ago following the Jacobite trail and ended up spending a long weekend on the staunch Calvinistic Presbyterian isle where you had to know the right person to find a drop on a Sunday! Wearing a Celtic top probably wasn’t one of my better fashion moves...

beat you by about 90min Z is a fan of the gin and I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality to have the odd refreshing tall one !

that and the fact i spent a large portion of my childhood driving between Lewis and Harris with my grandfather delivering bobbins and collecting tweed. he had an old Citreon H van, i can still see it now, happy days.

Despite having the numbers, there is the crazy man in the mountains that none of the tribes will go near!
Always aim to be that man.

That’s an awesome story! Doesn’t come much more remote apart from the next stop up being the shetlands

I have to say the hospitality on both those isles was fantastic.

Just making sure Santa’s preferred refreshment is up to standard!

Very smooth, reminiscent of a Speyside but a little bit more Smokey
