Associations with famous people are a HUGE priority, of course lol..

I mean, yeah, if a watch has any sort of connection w/someone ultra famous like Sly Stallone OBVIOUSLY it is blessed with a very high performamce, thats a given.... we are talkng about a man who has come a long way from the beginnings in his 1st on-screen 'performance' the 1971 porno ‘The Party at Kitty and Stud's’ to develop into one of the finest actors of our time

'The man who can best gets along with women, is the man who can get along without them.' Sylvester Stallone

Association with famous people? etc etc. One persons performance concept is another mans non event.

I like my Seiko's and the one Orient I've owned but the cheap workhorse movements means that they stop working a few hours after you put them down and you have to start the whole time setting process again. That is a pain in the ass on a day/date watch. They tell the time, are tough as nails and give long reliable service but non hacking non winding is a performance issue that cancels out some of the positives IMO. If they do break down is it worth paying $200+ to service and repair a $200 watch?

Now the GS, Marine masters and Spring drive Seiko's are another story all together but you have to pay for all that extra performance, fit and finish which places them in another category. They probably do out perform their Swiss half cousins twice removed

Much comment to be made on this one...

I wrote 3 responses but all would have come across too agro by far.

        Will wait.
