          • So, things have been wheely wheely busy. Sold the house. Left my job. Wifey left her job. Son has been playing regular club rugby and rep rugby which means training up to 4 times a week. Daughter also playing rugby and taining once a week. Moving all our stuff into storage. Moving into temporary digs. Looking for and buying another House, 2 1/2 hours drive south.
            Poor Me Poor Poor Me.
Need a little something to pick me up again.
            Something Hi Beat me thinks.
Havent got one of them yet.
So went to Partridges and had a wee squizz.
Love the Omega DeVille Hourglass in Blue! Oh yes. Lovely.
Wheely wheely love the Milgauss but was at the wrong Partridges.
            IWC Big Date was...BIG
            Thinking thinking.....

New house in Raglan needs among other things a new kitchen/bathroom/toilet....$10+k on a watch?....doable but wont make for a wheely happy wifey....wot to do?...
Hi Beat engine...Rugged Sporty Dressy style watch....
MAGRETTE LEONCINO. Looks gorgeous online so placed an order last night after virtually no deliberation/debate with Wifey. (she was out at night school...not my fault)
            Very excited about this one.

So it arrived quick smart. I must give Dion at Magrette a big thumbs up for the watch was well packaged and arrived quick smart.
            And its a cracker!
Love it. The whole package is very good quality and exceptional value.
We are boarding at the mo so these are phone shots uploaded from a real old computer.
The Miyota movement is a gem and a spare Chocolate brown strap is rather nice.

              • Ive seen this online and not really been taken by its looks however...in the flesh 8-)
The lovely young lady at Mansors was exceptional to deal with and I am happier than a dog with two....bones
I tried on the Milgauss that I'd been lusting over yet preferred the Ranger. The Ranger is more my kind of watch. Its really quite stunning in the flesh (to my taste)

                  • Very nice. Tudors are excellent watches, well made and I reckon they have a definite design originality.

                          #1 - Borealis Scorpionfish 2000m diver
Runs a Miyota 9015, huge sapphire crystal, pressure-sealing case back.

                          #2 - Miro minimalist automatic
Runs a Miyota 9015, slightly domed sapphire crystal.

#3 - Orient Star Classic automatic

In-house Orient Star movement, heavily domed mineral crystal (intended to look like an old acrylic crystal but more durable).

Jinx. I have the black dial, modern hands on the way. At pre-order prices it was hard to say no
