        • Would say a desk top clock, pic out of box. With winding mechanism operated by battery remontoir every 4 minutes, and its 16 jewels, so suppose its like a manual wind watch, but done by a battery? :D

                          There was one sold in 2007 at Christies auctions and it would appear to be 1960 vintage.
                          Has it got movement # 1362 on it? I think it was predicted to go for around US$3500-4500. Type in "Rolex horseshoe desk clock"
                          and should come up. Be as rare as rocking horse turds I would think, a unique piece to have in NZ. On the other hand there will be
                          Rolex collectors willing to open their wallets no doubt. A sellers market? cheers.
