    Nailed it!

The first picture is of a Sei whale and you got the KO picture... a bit of an obscure clue.

I just got an update that it's been given a release by customs so hopefully I'll have it tomorrow sometime. Will post a photo in due course.

    And the colour:

No-one has it yet, but the Oris LEs are right lookers.
The first two photos show the brand in syllables. Maybe I should have said that earlier, maybe my clues are a bit weird - first time player!

This is my first watch purchase for just over two years so I thought I'd make an effort with a few clues before it arrives, hopefully avoiding customs, in a few days.

Didn’t get tempted by the new Diver or the SBGV247 or the like?

yup. the main attraction for me is the 9F. im still not sure if I should have held out for the 001 but it was hard to find an immaculate one at a reasonable price. as with all GS, prices will settle and it may be reviewed later in the year.

Nice DW. The quartz IMO is a real bonus in that watch. It's been on my radar for a while too.

I think they've upped their game quality-wise quite a bit in the last couple of years - and probably too much of a stretch to still regard them as a microbrand, given the amount of watches they produce and sell. I particularly like the quick-release bracelet - I'm often loathe to remove factory-fitted SEL bracelets as they can be an arse to get back on and usually result in lug scratches and dings (and swearing). The new Trident Mk3 looks really well put together too, and available in 38, 40 & 43mm.
