      New distressed / washed leather for the Tudor. Just the look I wanted, except they sent me blue not black. So just another 6-8 weeks until the replacement arrives. Anyway it's a nice comfy strap.

      I started the day with the Field & Stream on the wrist -

      However a strap for my vintage Enicar finally arrived yesterday so I've just been playing around with it to soften it up a bit then fit it along with a gold-tone deployant clasp. I think I quite like it so I'm looking forward to being able to wear this watch occasionally now.

        It seems that when you start mucking around with straps it can be hard to stop. I had to force myself to close the box in the end! Haha! One good outcome was discovering this new combination and I’m stoked. May have just found a new daily wear.

            Hard work. Just did 6 hours with the flymo and strimmer trying to get it all under control. A bit like painting the fourth toad Bridge, I swear that by the time I finished the place I started had grown and needed another cut....

            Love the gold arabics on this against the silver dial. Wish more watches these days used arabics on their dials

              Love the warmth of gold-tone markers on a light-coloured dial vintage. As for Arabic, I do find older watches, vintages like this one, tend to execute them better and more balanced somehow.
