  • Just received this back from Blair, Time Central in Rotorua (prev of Watches on Broadway). Blair romoved a ding at 12.00 and refinished a nasty scuff on the case between 5 and 6. Getting the correct finish on the case was really tricky. Imo he has done an awesome job.

Looking very close to NOS now ...I can see what you mean about the red-orange. This is maybe like orange-dial divers, and how many can appear anywhere from light orange to dark tangerine, depending on light.

Love this piece. Have seen a few similar unpolished omega chronos popping up for sale and it's making me rethink my next purchase. They've got so much charm

Blair is very modern, very adept, skilled, makes a lot of his own tools.

His username here is WoB, he's very approachable.

      Chrono looks good Hammers, 10-4

Resized, even on my 30" screen it didn't fit

See how it loses quality/resolution. I’m sure it didn’t used to do that when I resized and image. Maybe it did and I just never noticed.

Yup, all works, all 100%. Seldom out on wrist and not one I leave home with. It’s a nice watch for a day at home.

That's a beauty, Guzz ...Very well looked after condition. Quality of the dial is near King Seiko, IMO.

Looks good Sir, where did it need a trim exactly, would have thought that model would have fitted a Z Strap perfect... what size are the lugs & Z-Strap anyway ?

I thought it was going to be a straight swap as the dive strap was included!! Just getting the spring bar's out was a super mission!!!! 19mm lugs, so it must have been 20mm strap. Nothing like a bit of fun and games on a Sunday to keep you on your toes

        • like a dog with 2 dicks today! dont know if i should go modded lefty or resealed and lumed vintage.

Seatbelt nylon would be quite an interesting option - use on my hunting belt and always wondered when flying how a watch sized piece would go in a strap!
