  • Was going to let this go a while back, glad I didn't, it's currently one of my favourites.

    • Still getting used to how to wear this strap, but overall I think I quite like it. It came out of the bag of bollocks - does anyone recognize it? Would love to know where it came from.

The strap looks to be the work of ‘His Tonyness’ [Anzac1957] I have one tucked away somewhere

Ah ok. Thanks Cap’n. I do remember Tony was chin deep in strap production a few years ago. This one is really cool and it’s extra special knowing where it’s come from.

My fathers watch from when I was a youngster.
Long thought lost and only very recently in my care.
Not going properly but somehow it seems appropriate to wear it on Father’s Day.

Interested in hearing your views on the Boldr. They get some good reviews from one or two of the YouTube watch crowd

                    Impressions so far....
-Nice and lightweight as you'd expect with titanium. This is further aided by the smaller size and short lug to lug length.
-Overall feel of the build quality is good. Crown is nice and smooth. Pushers have a nice depression when clicked.
-The dial is a nice change from standard dials I'm used to. There is no sub-seconds dial. Instead you get a 60min chronography sub-dial at 9 o'clock and a 24 hour sub-dial at 3 o'clock.
-Date disc text is chunky and very easy to read.
-Lume is disappointing. On their website, they play up the lumed pulsometer etc but in reality it's only the hour and minute hands that are noticeable. Usually lume is ideal breaker for me but realistically I'll just use this at work so it's not a deal breaker.

                    That's a great looking piece!

                • Attempting to wear one watch multiple days in a row. Will probably turn out to be a futile effort.
