Really nice. I love their Hammerhead and Observer - had the latter on my big list of watches to consider (that I hide from the Mrs)

WTF... you got a NIXIE too ???

  • Nice piece Steve... this day we sport HEXA once more, interesting watch this, with lovely hints of Vanilla & Lemon wafting periodically from its straps... I like the color combo, LEGO block seconds & the gnarly knurly rotating ring.

      Hey!

Don't be so bloody cheeky... gonna dock you one of your 137, 948 'Likes' for that un-needed comment.

FWIW: thats just 1 of 3 spare lume plots, but it is the only spare lume plot still living in the watch..

Worst thing is this, the whole movement must come to pieces to get the stem / movement out.

Yeah, belongs to a local Surgeon, AI, and I assume it's your old one, must be eh.

Anyway, cut the nasty comments, I'll strip it again tomorrow..

      Just for you DW

I just want to take my screwdriver and wee hammer and WHACK that cyclops OFF

  • Steinhart again today. Really loving this little fella - no date to set (I can't see them anyway!), super comfortable leather strap - feels like it's been cut from an old leather duffel and looks properly aged. Patina is already kicking in. I think they've done a good job with this one for the price. I ordered an extra bronze buckle (21 euros) so I could swap the strap out quickly without the hassle of changing the buckle also, and they shipped it here FedEx in 3 days for free, which was nice of them.

Arty, retro-coloured shot today - pity it's from my phone and not my camera.

            • SBDC001 from 2008 still looking pretty sharp. Has avoided dings pretty well so far.

Have trimmed the Seiko strap back a bit, tried the hot water technique to curl the tail in a little but it still kept getting caught on my sleeve.

It is, and still very accurate for an old piece.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
