          'JETPOWER SUPER - 77 JEWELS'

And dozens of them don't even do anything

          Some JETPOWER beta:

          Circa: 1950s
          Suisse Made: Yes
          Base ébauche: AS 1674
          Model: JetPower-Super
          Reference: 6039A
          Calibre: Titus 77

          Signed: Yes
          Reserve: 43h
          Selfwinds: Yes
          Shock-system: Incabloc
          Jewels: 77 (Seventy Seven!!)
          Handwinds: Yes
          BPH: 18,000
          Hacks: No

          Bezel: Fixed, gold plated
          Logo: Double hand applied
          Caseback: Signed screwdown
          Dial: Cambered, sunburst, silver
          Crown: Gold plated, press-in, fluted
Markers: Hand applied, facetted, diamond cut
Dial cover: Cambered acrylic, internal 'Cyclops'
          Straps: New Speidel calfskin, chocolate
          Buckle: Speidel, gold colored
          Hands: Gold Dauphines
          WR: Zilch, nada, none

          Heft: 41.9
          Inc/ crown: 43.02
          Lug 2 lug: 43.86
          Tall: 9.24

          Some guff:

How much is too much? Well, some Marque's have sold timepieces w/100 jewels so I guess 77 wasn't… many of the jewels in this movement will be entirely superfluous (the AS 1674 base has a mere 25 in date form) but jewel embellishment was once 'en vogue' and Titus w/its 41 jewel Titomatic and the Jetpower-Super are good examples of exponents of the practice. Titus possesses strong lineage with its Suisse creator (Paul Ditisheim) an avant garde inventor, practicing horologist & author on the subject who's designs won Chronometre Competitions including one at the famous Kew Observatory in 1903

Yours has what I would call "coffin" shaped indices whereas mine has straight batons. I reckon the ref 6039 A is the case shape as mine has the same number.

Beautiful watch! Do you mind if I ask whether you have found any short comings of the X-33 as looking at getting one with the titanium bracelet. Cheers!
