Strap Whore strikes again... love the blue display & wet oily loot rotating ring that are both complimented nicely by YELLOW NATO

        mechanalogue,

        Nice work starting us off...

Thats a Quartz OMEGA SMP 41MM Reference 2541.80... unless I am mistaken, which I often am?

AFAIK, that, the 2541.80 is the ORIGINAL OMEGA BOND SMP... with James choosing to sport the recently released Quartz SMP model in the 1995 GOLDENEYE

FWIW, 007's cohort, 006 sported the same watch in GOLDENEYE but on a black straps, same watch, same OMEGA WAVE, same iconic SKELETON hands

The automatik SMP 41MM Reference 2531.80 didn't appear untill the next film, 1997 TOMORROW NEVER DIES

IMVHO: for a real Secret Agent, the 2541.80 would, in reality, be far more desirable that the springs pallets & delicate balance of a fully manual unit

Like Sarbie says, this this, beamy, ALL DISPLAY watch head is just about the most stable, secure, easy wearing, comfortable wrist watch in history pretty much, despite what some so called 'experts' may have recently erroneously claimed

Ome may argue, solidly, Omega SMP BEATS 16610 etc ha!

        As always, JM2CW

Yep I'm fairly sure you are correct Harlan. I bought this from Micheal Hill Jewellers back in the day when they sold Omega. I even saw an Archie Luxury Video where Archie reluctantly admitted the Seamster Quartz might be an ok watch on account of an acquaintance of his who happened to be a professional deep sea diver saying it is his only choice on account of its rugged practicality and ultimate reliability. Archie has been known to have quite a dislike of Seamaster's LOL.
I love it and its been bullet proof. I've not been gentle with it.
