A rock solid classic today for me. Nice original condition with a modern bracelet that fits like a glove. Sometimes forget how timeless these are. Should be one in every collection!

A humble Seiko I just picked up on 'Tard me' on a lizard strap (Who goes out and traps all the lizards and how do you get a job as a lizard trapper I wonder??)

That lizard you managed to catch and skin & dry & preserve & stuff into that nice even uniform shape makes for a perfect set of straps, its colour/hue complement the display really well, I'm wondering did you artificially colour the hide of the Skink or Tuatara or whatever as some point in any way?

Nah I can hazard a decent guess, it's not cheap, more like outrageously costly, but not as costly as the Capt's Tuatara straps!!

Good work DW, that one you're grooming will look great on a nice dress watch.

I have mowed a few up in the past. Not much left to make a strap with haha. I just wondered if some bloke just went round biffing them on the head with a mallet and stuffing them in his pockets

        1979 SEIKO
        6309-7040

Notes: Plenty nice appropriate & matching patina on this all original watch, runs like the day it was made during the last April in the 1970's.

They were clever, Romans... they knew the FRIDAY was the best day, 'yah we've made in, Victory'

Dual language on this one Roman + English

I know what you mean...it has a flashing lights specialness about it...I mean its just a turtle but somehow (at least to me) it has an intrinsic 'you better look after me' quality to it. JMHO

Better than nice, it is 10/10

                Tuatara really makes it
