'Thats a very unusual model, very nice, kids to you, Sir.'

Yep - watch was a mates, sat in the bottom draw for last decade at least. He finally remembered to bring it out and show me.
Needed a clean and new capacitor. Seems to be charging and holding charge OK now.
As you say interesting model, only made between 97-99 I think. Omega presumably the gave up and left Seiko and others to perfect kinetic technology

Congratulations on your anniversary ...Generally speaking, anything "pork belly" would not be considered flattering to a Tudor. But given the ambiance, I reckon you picked the perfect watch for the evening. Beautifully captured!

Forgive the quality of my pics. My phone's photos are so high in file size that I have to use a dodgy app to lower the resolution in order to upload them. Anyone have this issue??

Just an old 1972 hand-wind for me...

Apparently, folks in those days had yet to develop the notion of "Date" ...simpler times when there were no arguments about forgetting birthdays nor anniversaries.
