Today and for most of the week I finally managed to tear the GS off my wrist, only to put on a different Seiko. 1974 6139 6002.

What a difference a premium strap can make to a watch.

Thanks, Harlan. It's funny how sometimes you'll go through about 5-10 strap combos on a single watch before you think you've got it right. At least if you're OCD like me lol

'64 Certina is back on today. 17mm is a really tough lug size to find good straps for - I bit the bullet and bought one of those expansion bracelets that can fit anything between 15mm to 20mm. Suits this one pretty well, a very vintage look.

Lovely Certina, Gauss, and in the same spirit as the OP's Cyma Divingstar. 17mm straps are extremely limiting, I agree. Usually, I squeeze an 18 mm in, and as long as the straps are not too thick, they do fine.

Agreed, have often wondered this myself, and agreed, CYMA's CYMA is real cool today.

The smooth bezel mod really gives a different personality to the 670 case, IMO. I also prefer the white luminous material used on your watch much more than the green version used on the later SE models.

Beautiful wrist shot, and choice of straps rocks--slate grey goes wonderful with the brown and polished chapter ring finishes it off very well.

Thanks Don. Strap is shell cordovan, from the finest, softest part of an Italian stallions bum.

Thank you for the kind comments. I think this model is well worth considering for anyone looking at an in-house multi-complication gents piece. 10 bar WR and sapphire make for a good daily wear too.
