One of the few watches I've ever seen wher a big ol' cloud reflected smack bang in the middle looks great!

Normally, I tend to find world-time type rotating bezel, whether internal or external, to be a bit of a visual clutter. However, on this Paketa, it is pleasant to have on the watch, and really adds essence to the 24-hour movement. The minute hand reaching the minute markers, but not overreaching to the Arabic hours, is a nice touch.

That’s because it’s freaking awesome!! Alba made a world timer decades ago that isn’t dissimilar. I’ve only ever seen one for sale and I wish I knew at the time how good a buy it would’ve been.

I would post a photo of my ‘watch’, but I don’t want to ruin Captain’s day. Isn’t that nice of me?

A bit late today (problems getting my head around the Mrs’s iPad ) Watch choice for today has been my circa 30’s mystery in a Borgel/Taubert case. Nice copper dial and cool plum hands on an ancient bund.

Thanks guys. Yes it is an unusual watch. I’ve been unable to identify the manufacturer, which is surprising to me as it oozes quality. The plum colour of the hands is a different stage of the heating process. You see many with blued steel hands.
