Thought I would go with my WW2 ATP Watch today. This one has a nice Peseux movement and it’s original (grandfather of the ubiquitous NATO) strap.

Nowadays, we only hear the mention of Peseux in reference to the ultra-thin ETA/Peseux 7001, mostly found in pricey dress watches (e.g. Blancpain 64-1). Very nice to see an older Peseux on still ticking away in a 70+ years old watch. Matching beautifully-aged dial and hands, too.

The M222S is a real sleeper. Perfect for what these pocket watch movement-derived watches should be, in every way. I miss mine.

For today an item from the past, Carrera 45, ideal for timing activities for time and motion studies. Such studies were current in the 60s, cutting edge business efficiency practices. This one probably 1965. Powered by Valjoux 92 movement.

Now where is that photo exactly?

Transmission problem from the deep south?

Certainly is a leap year. Timekeepers nightmare.

Note to self: add perpetual calendar to the collection.....

+1 ...Quintessential Heuer. Valjoux 92 much more desirable than Lemania-equipped Re-Edition.
