As a previous owner of the earlier Orient Star 300m, the first generation of these, I would say more than just great ...If only my wrist were larger to accommodate their lug-to-lug, I'd get another without hesitation.

During a strap swap the other day I thought I’d try the SKX on a Zulu just to see what it’s like. I think I actually quite like it so it will stay there for now. Apologies to the fashion police for using a black strap on a watch with no black on it!

I've had my -0020 cases on Nato in the past, and find them very comfortable--perhaps because the contact surface between the case back and the wrist is increased and the weight it more evenly distributed... Considering the popularity of black dials with blue bezel or blue dial with black bezel over recent years, I think fashion law enforcement are not laying charges so often

            CITIZEN "E210 CHRONOGRAPH" Titanium PMZ56-2852 (Caliber 2100) from 2006

...is one of the best watches that I have owned to date.

Thank you for the comments, guys... Leroy, thanks and yes, you are right--I've posted about this watch in the past ( https://www.timekeeper.co.nz/forum/w...0115#post60115 ). Pedro, I've owned the stainless steel black dial a couple of times, and aesthetically, I do like black more. However, you have a point that this silver/black is easier to read the time.

In person, it is even quicker to tell the time because the only the portions of the dial related to time (main hands and hour indices) are framed by polished steel, and this reflects light quite well.

I view watches differently than most people do today. I look at watches less of an aesthetic item of fashion, and more as an item of meaning. When launched, this PMZ56-2852 embodied all that was Citizen, i.e. not just watch Citizen does well, but what Citizen does better than anyone else. It was executed with little regards to convention, with pride in making, and despite what it is, still incorporated fair pricing that is also a Citizen core value.

Thanks Don. It is unusual / unique in design. The sub dials are all accommodated without parts being trimmed or interrupting other elements. Whilst some I know dislike a 4.30 date, personally I've always though it is quite neat placed there and easy to read at a glance.
              Overall I get it

Yes it takes on many shades. Though not always the most legible with the gold hands and indices
