These Uncle Seiko are brilliant aesthetically, but am personally less impressed with the comfort-to-price ratio. Not sure if others feel the same?

The madman-style bracelet really gives this piece a visual kick, makes the whole really stand out.

It's a C Ward strap. Not the one it came with though. Top quality.

sorry H, i fear i am a fraud!! i took a few pics then realized i couldn't move from Phone to work laptop so i stole from the 'as Don rightly says' brochure.

i now have all 3 of the Newmark offerings and really rate them, price to value is pretty sweet, old school design and sizing and it seems the team behind the company are genuinely interested in watches.

Thought I would go with this funky Rodania chronograph today. I recently found it in a drawer and had completely forgotten about it. It has issues but still runs and keeps time. I’m on the lookout for some Elvis type sunglasses to complete the look lol.

It obviously wasn’t here in NZ cause I it was it would’ve been in your draw not your drawer. Eh JMac?

retro chrono w/a Mercedes symbol... but it's a suisse watch - all very quirky.

Don, I liked the old-school (now) minimalist G-Shocks. My Fox Fire is the flashiest I can manage and I have a Basic Black Out but I can't read the thing without my glasses now I couldn't handle anything newer, or bigger, like a Mudman or GravityMaster, so I'm too afraid to even ask what a Mr-G looks like...

Slade, same here ...I stick to those derived from the original 1980s design. MR-G is the current flagship line of Casio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8cs...l=CASIOG-SHOCK), and they are not too large.

Actually the MR-G isn't too bad. Certainly a bit of a change from the plastic fantastics of yesteryear

Very handsome watch, Artemis12 ...Again, a big congratulations!

Today, with a bit of luck, I just might be able to have claim to oldest on the board

Hammer, your beautiful Seamaster 176.007 came at least a few years later, yes Omega Cal. 1040 was first introduced in 1972.

Thanks all. It is so cool in person. All original, other than the hands that have been sympathetically relumed. It would standalone as a favorite, but made more special as it was a 50th birthday/Christmas present from wife and daughter a couple of years back.
