I was reading a recent forum discussion on WUS based on this article: https://timeandtidewatches.com/rent-...ever-take-off/ . Interesting concept. Why would someone want to rent a watch is a different question. Sounds pretentious to me.

Personally I am not a fan of a future where we rent instead of owning.
Strictly talking about watches , I could see some benefit in testing the watch for a few days, to make sure you like it, before committing to buy it

Someone on youtube mentioned that in the States you could buy a watch that has a good return policy, wear it for some important event and then send it back asking for a refund... that is like getting a free watch for a week end or something
