They do 'go together' in a big way, agreed A12.

What sort of known is that, 'multi-tool', perhaps ?

Going to be very difficult for anyone to catch/overtake rustinbox in the standings now!

Sorry A12 et al for my not having an entry this week, will make doubly sure to be ready next week.

We can enter anytime over the Sat/Sun correct ?

Ah sweet - yep I was and may have voted for #4 lepo76 or #8 rustinbox so it's good to see that I am possibly in agreement with the (small amount) of 'masses'

Good work all, wonder who will take it out !

I think poll result should not show till voting is over, any others agree? point being, lets just say Leroy and self both got 3 votes, and ive not voted as yet,but really like leroys, do i vote for his and give him the win? or vote for some one else so him and i draw??? makes sense.

Agreed. I’ve been pushing for this from the start.
Seeing the poll before I cast a vote has often affected my choice. It shouldn’t, but sometimes we want to vote for the underdog, rather than the popular choice, or like Cyma has said, help give someone the win.

When really, we should be voting with on which WE think is the BEST photo. Regardless of how well or poor they are doing in the polls.

I've been quite keen to give this first iteration a good go before making too many changes, but this is one that I totally agree with. I never check the 'score' before voting myself as I want to vote for my favourite photo and not be swayed by the current standings, even if it's completely unintentional.

Artemis12 has it ever been considered that all entries could even be anonymous by privately submitting the photos to the person who sets up the weekly page?

adding to what Cyma suggested, this would further, imo, help people cast unbiased votes.
not saying this is happening yet, but once the 10 or so people who consistently enter each week have all won a few times it might get to the point where people don’t vote for them just because they’ve won 5 times for example.

I also like the idea of the big reveal of all submissions on Monday morning when all the photos are finally released and ready for voting.

I like this idea as well. The vote function may not actually allow for the current standings to be invisible so this could be a way to add a little anonymity. Of course we all know each others watches and style of photos so for the regulars it may not actually have much effect, but for anyone new it could be quite effective.

                  Hi, Everyone.

                  Some good feedback coming through.

                  As per LeroyC comments.
The poll system is pretty limited and doesn't offer any features that you guys have discussed in your post's above today.

Some of them would be rather cool but, we are stuck with the current setup, which i personal thinks works quite well for its limitations
