  • 2824 winding slippage

    Have a 2824 movement that slips sometimes when handwound .
    Slight inward pressure on crown when winding will cause it to slip
    Slight outward pressure when winding and cranks perfect .
    Stem length problem maybe
    any you boys had the same problem before .

    Had a similar problem, from memory it turned out to be a worn lever which engages / disengages the winding mechanism when the crown is pulled out I think is what the watchmaker said. Not a biggie to fix and parts are available if it is that.
