"Went looking for a big tough beater"

    AS explained by Invicta spokesman:

"More impact resistant than mineral, also far more scratch resistant. This makes it a superior choice to Mineral.

Far more impact resistant than Sapphire, and equal scratch resistant. This makes it a superior choice to Sapphire."

OK 3 weeks into the workforce and this is what their crystals look like .
Remembering the crystal and bezel were in good nick when I got them.

OK, I am more brutal on my beater Watches than the average WIS but the Hardex crystal on my Seikos had had better survival rates than this by at least x 6 months.

    Now onto the watch itself

Its movement , The NH25A Seiko proved itself pretty well.
based on Seikos 7S26 and made in one of its hong kong based factories.
    It kept within +/- 30secs a day.
Will keep the movement and will transplant into a suitable donor case for a Mod project .

Now onto the case its self .
Yes it is tough enough to take the knocks.
You all saw in previous post what the original owner did
But this has been one of the most uncomfortable hunks of steel to ever have been strapped to my wrist .
It chaffed, rubbed and just pissed me off day in and day out.
Designed for The big chunky invicta look , but sure as hell not for comfort .
this particular case is the case from "Hell"
    Now Binned
SO did I achieve my mission of getting a tough beater ."NOT"
    "FAILED" "TRY AGAIN PETE"

Hate to say it.. but from what I have heard about Invicta.. Not much that would encourage me to buy one.. Maybe you should give up wearing a watch at work or start using a pocket watch..

Or look at the clock on the wall
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Nothing is fool-proof to a sufficiently talented fool.

            Invicta.

Can someone tell me more about this brand?

I just bought a Invicta Reserve Bolt Chrono 0195 amongst others as a result of the high dollar recently judged basically on its 'cool' looks.

            Are they really any good?
