  • Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe 7619 7010 restoration

    This week I'm going to fix this nice little Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe made in 60's purchased 2 years ago

    This watch have some things to doing,missing dial window date and second hand,hours and minutes hands damaged and movement in not really nice shape:

    The main plates shows the typical marks made from the oscillator weight,probably the ball bearing isn't in perfect working order:

    in addition the mainspring bushing is worn,this is the result after lot of years work:

    we can see the hacking system,this lever press and stop the center seconds wheel when the stem goes in the setting time position:

      Very informative, keep the updates coming pleade

        Finally I have found a better mainspring mainplate , isn't as a new and the amplitude result a bit low but it can easily work for many others years

        I have also changed the escapement wheel + center wheel + mainspring / mainspring barrel + ratchet wheel + pallet fork and the relative bridge,those parts was worn

          I also fitted the date window,it come from old worn 7619 dial
