Hypoallergenic, completely waterproof, soft, flexible, textured, and interesting - will be going straight onto my Zodiac Sea Wolf as soon as I get home, as a more water-friendly alternative to the current textured leather.

Interesting. Never knew that there was such a thing as a 100% cock watch strap.

Forgot to update the thread. My Seiko sbdc053 came in clean and cheap evading all extra charges and hold ups at the border. Nice to have a win every now and then.Image

A few on the forum have these...very tempting, but if I had any spare money for watches, I ought to put in for system admin.

Ouch. Want to tidy that up Spock. Feels like your shaming me there. I only joined last month and am still in the furious buying stage and getting acquainted with everyone.

Your impeccable taste leads me to believe that your Vulcan guilt trip was accidental, must be your human side coming through.

The last thing you want on a watch forum is embarrassment for purchasing a watch, surely. That would put a hasty stop to this thread.

Sorry Spock I realised I need to reply to your post so you can see I replied to yours.

The sbdc053 replaced my skx which a friend wanted badly and I wasn't feeling so I sold it to him.

I tried to buy during black Friday deals but for some reason they wouldn't ship to New Zealand for that watch during the sale.

No shaming or judgment intended to anyone, especially others, I was referring only to *myself*. I’m not one to judge others on this forum, or out in the wider world... ,-)
