the "what did you do today?" thread...

Post by deerworrier » Sun May 07, 2017 5:21 pm

as a bit of a side line to all this watch nonsense i thought i'd start up a thread for some of the more interesting daily achievements of the forum. it can be the successful mowing of that jungle, decapitation of the ugly macracarpa, rebuild of the old V8 or anything else you think some buggers may be interested in.

i'll start with a few phone pics of my 80m long, 8" pipe install down a 42deg slope  i have a timelapse and pro photo set coming next week and i'll stick them here too so all the Kapiti'ians & Wellingtonians can see the work being done.

very crappy low resolution pics to get them on the board but when i get the proper pro ones through and the timelapse i'll get it on here too, the time lapse is cooler than a polar bears dangley bits.

Looking for something dangerous hey? I told my wife she was wrong today and lived to tell the tale.
I hope, when i die, my wife doesn't sell my watches for what I told her I paid for them.

This was a few weekends ago but it was pretty unusual...the move of NZ's three most significant constitutional documents: Declaration of Independence, Treaty of Waitangi, and Women's Suffrage Petition, from our National Archives to the National Library in preparation for the new He Tohu permanent exhibition. All done quietly and respectfully in the very early morning hours.
